Hear Me Help is designed to minimize data collection. The Help Me Now app stores information locally on your device only. We do not intentionally collect, store, sell, or share your personal information through the app.
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials to use this site or the Help Me Now app. No account is required.
We do not intentionally collect, store, sell, or share trusted contacts, message contents, or precise location through the app or this site.
The Help Me Now app may store the following information locally on your device using your browser's localStorage:
Trusted contact names and phone numbers you add, your selected region or country, default message preferences, and app settings such as language. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to Hear Me Help servers.
Using "Clear All Data" in the app removes this stored information from your device.
If you choose to include your location in a message, your device's location is used to generate a Google Maps link that is added to your message. Hear Me Help does not store this location. The message is opened in your device's messaging app — it is never sent automatically by Hear Me Help.
Google Maps and your messaging app are third-party services with their own privacy policies.
This site is hosted on Vercel. Our hosting provider may receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This is typical of most websites. Please review Vercel's privacy policy for details.
Links to external organizations, phone services, text lines, and maps are provided for convenience. Those organizations and services are governed by their own privacy policies. Hear Me Help is not responsible for how third parties handle your information when you contact or visit them.
If someone monitors your device, your browser history, phone logs, text messages, or app activity may still be visible to them. The Quick Exit and Hide features can reduce but cannot guarantee the removal of all traces of your visit. Use a safer device when possible.
This site is not designed to collect personal information from children. If a child or young person is in immediate danger, they should contact emergency services, a trusted adult, or a qualified local professional.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of this site or app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
