US/Canada: 911  |  UK: 999  |  EU/Global: 112

1. Immediate Danger

If you are in immediate danger, do not wait. Contact local emergency services now. Hear Me Help is an informational resource — it is not an emergency service, crisis line, or substitute for trained professionals.

2. Device Monitoring Warning

If someone checks your phone, browser history, text messages, or app activity, they may be able to see that you visited this site or used the Help Me Now app. The Quick Exit and Hide features may help reduce exposure, but they cannot guarantee privacy or the complete removal of all browsing traces.

Using a private or incognito browsing window, or a device that is not monitored, may reduce this risk.

3. Using a Safer Device

When possible, use a device that is not monitored by someone who could cause harm — such as a library computer, a friend's phone, or a device the other person does not have access to. If you are unsure whether your device is monitored, assume it may be.

4. Resource Limitations

Resource information on this site is provided as a starting point. Phone numbers, services, hours, and availability can change without notice. Always try to verify a resource before relying on it, especially in an urgent situation.

Hear Me Help cannot guarantee that any listed resource will be available, appropriate, or safe for your specific situation.

5. Help Me Now App Limitations

The Help Me Now app can help you prepare a message to a trusted contact. Your device's messaging app opens with the message pre-filled — the message is never sent automatically. If you choose to include your location, a Google Maps link is added to the message. Your location is not stored by Hear Me Help.

The app works best when trusted contacts have been added in advance and your device has a working internet or cellular connection.

6. External Organizations

Organizations listed on this site are not controlled by Hear Me Help. Response times, availability, and quality of service vary. A listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of the organization's services.

7. When Leaving May Be Dangerous

Leaving a dangerous situation is sometimes the safest step — and sometimes it is not. Research indicates that risk can increase around the time of leaving. If you are considering leaving a dangerous relationship or living situation, consider speaking with a trained local advocate or qualified professional about safer next steps before acting.

Hear Me Help is not in a position to assess your individual risk or advise you on when or how to leave.

8. Quick Exit Reminder

Every page on this site has a Quick Exit button. Tapping or clicking it immediately takes you to Google.com. It may not remove all traces of your visit from your browser history, cache, or device logs. Clear your browser history manually if needed.
